Within minutes of releasing Bo to hunt, he will be quartering at distances beyond hundreds of yards! In all my decades, I’ve never witnessed a dog with a higher head both while searching and absolutely when on point.

Shake was truly an amazing dog with a tenacity that was unmatched in the bird field. When the chips were down he was the dog you wanted on the ground. I truly believe he could find birds even where there weren’t any.

Rowdy was a powerhouse male with muscle and brawn to spare. Even in his senior years, he was still a force to reckoned with on the chukar hills of Oregon. I will never forget the first time I uncrated him at one of the nation’s top wingshooting destinations. The guides were in awe, comments like, “Wow that’s the most amazing dog I’ve ever seen.” I found this very impressive coming from guys that own some of the best bred bird dogs in the country.
